You seem to be asking alot for that bike! And the 04 05's have tranny issues. But they are fun to ride Imiss my 04. They are fast eats other 1000's up in it's year. goodluck with the trade

 

Tranny issues are not as common as people make them out to be.

There have been a few people with tranny issues on their '05 636's as well but that doesn't mean everyone has that problem.

 

No, i dont seem to be asking a lot for it. The older 240's, and mk3's are a pretty fair trade. I know the only way i could get a mk4 or fd is pure luck lol. Im just testing waters, i like my bike a lot so im in no hurry to get it and the tranny in mine doesnt have a problem, i guess its just whos hands its been in

 

There's a big difference between things built on an assembly line on a Monday, and things built on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and I guess Friday. Friday might fall under the same category as Monday, but you get the drift. People are doing half ass jobs because they don't want to be at work.

I think that honestly accounts for a lot of it.

 

Thats probably the truth of it foreal. Things fail more when made in mass then things not done that way. Factroys do have auditors but things can still get by them i guess
