Default Chevy 350 mods

I am new to Chevys, sorry. (I really like Ford)
Anyways, what are the cheapest, but most effective ways to get more power out of a stock 350?
I am new to small block V8s in general actually.. hah

Please don't be an asshole, I am sorry I may not be as smart as you are.

not trying to be an asshole but if your new to chevys and really like ford does that mean you know a lot about ford motors? and if your new to small blocks does that mean you know a lot about big blocks? anyways.....heads and port work, cam, header, ignition, carb (if its not Fuel injected), bore and pistons, and some good tuning, and depending on what your driving gears play a big roll also

ford motors and chevy motors arent that different, and either are small blocks and big blocks, they arent the same, but not too different

That was his point..the same cheap methods that apply for making power on ford small block apply to chevy small blocks..or any motor for that matter.

+1...A motor is a motor, no matter the size, ect.

For cheap Id say, headers, exhaust, mild cam, and nitrous.

There is alot you can do too a small block. The basic concept of ford n chevy r bout the same. Easy upgrades are cams, intake, distributor, carb. You can do Head work but depending on wut ur doing with the vehicle depends on the head work and how much its gona cost. If u hav fuel injection u can do pretty much the same stuff to it. If u got any more in detail questions jus let me knw. All i own r chevys.
