All in vb/norfolk but were voted best she crab soup at the ""East Coast She Crab Soup Classic."
I'm sure there are smaller local joints that are on par or better but I'm not a huge she crab soup fan so I wouldn't know.

I've been to at least 90% of all the japanese restaurants in VA Beach.
For Sushi and Japanese:
My favorites plus thumbs up from lots of Asian people considering my girl is asian and her entire family lives in VA Beach.

Authentic and sushi is good. My girl's favorite place, as well as some of her family. They aren't even Japanese. (Her families favorite place is the Kyung Sung Korean place.)

My favorite in VA Beach. I go there at least once every time I visit. Sushi menu is off the hook. Hibachi is awesome but I don't care to sit and watch the chefs. I just order stuff and eat it at the sushi bar.

Soya is the only place in the area that i would ever buy sushi. They also have the best hibachi in town. The prices are very reasonable too. Perfect little place to take that special someone.
