yea i wanna try and keep it D- series. easy to have a/c with. and people rarely ever build them anymore. they just jump straight into a B or H series.

You can get a used d16y8 pretty cheap and edelbrock makes a pretty bad ass turbo setup for that motor with stock internals they claimit makes like 170hp at the wheels with out a boost controller

sounds good, but i checked with woodfin honda and for a motor with around 110-120k on it is like $1200. so i was like fuuuuuuuke that.

Find a good OBD2 bottom end and just replace that. ZC would be pointless plus youd have to revert back to OBD0. Z6s are great but hard to come by without a million miles on them. Just find a good OBD2 D15 or D16 bottom end from an lx four door on somethin (I just bought one for $150) and slap your Vtec head on it. Dont have to change anything. Best bang for the buck.
