My car was beeping yesterday morning. That's potential for ice on that road. 37 degree. Metzler racetecs, and pirelli supercorsa tires DON'T work in the cold.
I'll pass on that. I'd rather ride in a tropical downpour than temps below 50.
It simply isn't fun at that point and I'm more worried about cold tires biting me than having fun.
I can wait for that random warm weekend. I'm cool, my car is pretty fun to drive and fairly good handling.

So.....
I went out riding on the 25th and got caught in the rain. On my way home, the bike slid out in a turn doing about 30mph and luckily I low sided. I fractured my right femur and left tibula. (essentially, I turned my right leg into jelly) The bike did pretty well...I bent a fork, busted off a handle bar, cracked my left fairing, windshield is cracked, etc. I'm in the process of physical therapy right now. It's been a week and I'm already standing and crutching along and hopefully in another week i will be walking again, but you never know. Just a reminder for you guys to ride safely!
Now....who wants to help me build a streetfighter F4i? haha
