300zx assiatance
ive got an 84 300zx nonturbo and stock. i bought it a couple of weeks ago and the speedometer doesnt work. anyone know where the sensor/cable is so i can change it out?
also on start up if it doesnt hold idle well (only when cold). it'll usually fluctuate between 500 or 600rpms and occasionally cut out. it take forever to warm up just idling this way and if i try to drive it the engine sputters and sounds like its going to die but if you almost floor the gas then it will sputter heavy then run, idle and drive fine for the rest of the day for the most part unless i let it get to cold again. any help?

Re: 300zx assiatance
theres a speedo cable that runs from the dash to the transmission. not fun to replace.
you're cold idle is low. you should turn it up some. and might want to just take off the Idle air control valve and clean it w/ carb cleaner.
