Real vs. Fake
I can see that this discussion has already come to an end, but I still want to add my 0.02.
You gotta pay to play. Buying replicas or fakes is equal to being a poser in other subcultures. I will keep my OEM wheels or get some OEM+ wheel before I run a Miro or ALT. Your OEM wheels are most likely lighter and of higher quality than the replicas anyway.

I get the whole real vs. fake debate, but I what I don't understand, is why people think it's baller to put $5000 wheels on a car that's worth MAYBE $1500.. I don't get how it's "status" to spend crazy money on wheels to put on a car worth 1/4 of the the "value" of the wheels.
Can someone explain?

little late but my .02
I have "real" wheels that i worked hard to buy and waited forever to receive. i have also ran a cheaper wheel (konig helium). i see this debate from both sides. when i didnt have money, i bought the best wheel for the money i had. nice looking and lightweight and got plenty of props even from people who knew i only paid 350 for them. then when i ordered my work meisters i caught so much shit from friends. "i will never spend 2200 on wheels to put on something that isnt worth much more". my integra no, isnt worth THAT much, but a cars worth isnt always a dollar sign, unless its time to sell. if someone loves their car and loves building a car, why not have what you want and nothing less than the best. i have worked hard to get my car where it is now, but doesnt bother me when people run knock offs because i understand why they do. BUT if i saw someone with some rota d2s with work stickers on them, it would def get under my skin. thats my short story
