Car Club of VCU
this thread is retarded on so many levels
VCU will not give you money to drive go karts in the decks
VCU is not going to give ANY stupid social club money when they can barely afford to pay professors to teach classes
just go have a fucking car meet or whatever if you're that bored
or here's an idea
instead of trying to get a bunch of dudes to hang out together, try and get a girl to hang out with you and get laid instead

No it does not work like your mom and dad. You must have great parents if they are funding for you social activities. We had track days and it gets to be expensive. Everything was funded from our own pockets from club stickers to t-shirts. MOST IMPORTANT POINT I'M MAKING HERE IS THAT "WE WERE COLLEGE STUDENTS AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY MONEY TO PAY FOR OTHER PEOPLE TRACK RUNS".
I'm sorry, my bad. It must be hard to go to college, afford nice cars, and try to scrape up enough dough to host a car club. I mean track events at VIR and the Nurburgring are not cheap now-a-days. My point is, who gives a FUCK about money! Just freeze your dick off while standing around in a parking lot like everyone else!
Once you get to a certain point people just started dropping out. You're right it didn't matter if VCU put up the money for us or not. We made the effort to apply since every other club is getting funded by VCU during the time. MY POINT is that you should wait til u start wanting to do more activities than meeting in the parking lot to talk about the same waste gate that you installed last week with the same people that you talked to last week about the same waste gate.
If you read my paragraph correctly I stated more reasons why the club failed than just us not getting funded by VCU. I said "funding" was one of the reason why the club failed. We also did not get any approval for any of our activities and it was hard for us to find a mentor to make it VCU official.
Also club meetings are held every now and than which needs to be attended to make the club official. Last time I checked bro money doesn't grow on trees and I hope you're pitching in on renting thoes go karts at the club events and I'll come support for sure. If you got any more comments please post...but please read and make sense of what I wrote. thanks!
Then I wouldn't be a Toys 'R Us Kid! LOL!
some of us don't need to worry bout this
Let's go back to the original post shall we:

It was pretty hard, and I also was paying for the club to run, and I'm not intrested in standing in the cold for the same car talk that everybody had on the forums.
You know, I've known quite a few people to stand around and talk about a car they didn't have, and you know what? They still came out because maybe they liked the people they were with,...Kinda tells you something about why people were leaving your group.
You could be right...maybe they didn't like me very much. You'll find out as you grow up in life, your priorities changes and running a car club is not very high on my list.
Once again, I will quote your original post:
Nope...you said it was the 'MAIN' reason.
Glad you passed ENG200, but sad that you reread my paragraph because you couldn't understand it the first time.
Yep, I read it but I can't seem to make sense of it.
At least you got the main point becuase you are arguing about it! good job...you deserve a cookie!

I wrote a post on here as a heads up for the people that are starting the club. I'm very happy to see that there's another group of kids thats willing to do the same as we did few years back, and I hope they reach the goals that we couldn't reach. But if you wanna pick on every little thing related to funding you should go find some thing better to do with your time.
Dont buy toys bro...you should buy some spinner hubs for your escort wagon :-)
