6k hids vs 8k hids
Im looking into getting a pair of hids soon but was wondering if there's actually any difference besides color temp. and that 6k isnt as blue as 8. Is there any visibility difference, im just trying to hear some opinions too, thanks.

4100k - 4300k is the ideal HID color temperature to produce the maximum amount of light, lumens, hence the reason while all OEM manufacturers equip their vehicles with these types of bulbs.

I use 5700k as its almost a pure white..the higher you go the less actual light output you get

i got the 6000k in my civic they are hyper white... i got the 8000k in my bimmer... they are blue, my personal opinion the 6000k are the cleanest looking. and i believe they are legal.

5000 come stock in all bmw and look good, i have 6000, give very good distance in light, the higher the Kelvin the less you can see on the road. but i recommend getting projectors to make everything properly level, without projectors its scattered.
