I'm sure the lengthened/widened wheelbase helps keep it planted but I wonder how it handles? From the looks of it they just wanted something that handled (Elise) and something that was fast (LS9). Then they mushed them together and cut and welded where needed in order for it to work. I'm curious, if they actually put the work in to engineering this medley of awesome, or if they just threw it together in hopes of it putting down some unbelievable numbers for investors...

Given the history, I'd bet on the latter.

I saw this a while ago......and yes, Lotus was involved. Last I heard was that it was shelved for awhile.

 

His cars fire test themselves. I wouldn't go near one without knowing the distance to the closest water hose.

Hrm, last time I heard anything about Hennessey was probably in the early/mid 2000's when he was swapping/selling parts from customers cars

 

...and charging personal items on customer cards.
