D.O.T. R Compound tires
OK so im looking to purchase a set of tires for the upcoming autocross season. This is my first big purchase as far as tires even though i have been doin this a while. I would love to get some Hoosier A6s but they are outrageous and I cant find a used set in 225/50/13. So i thought of trying a different tire but havent heard much about other tires as far as being able to compare with the hoosier. So lets here what you guys suggest.

For 13" wheels, beggars can't be choosers, I think you're extremely lucky to have any tires at all, letalone multiple options. V710 215/50R13 (round shoulder) is awfully close to 225/50R13, you're not going to be giving much up. Would lower you about 10mm, too, and lower gear ratios about 4%. They're a little cheaper than Hoosiers and from what I've heard, will probably last quite a bit longer.
What class do you race in, can you use any other wheel sizes that might give more tire options?

The 13inch hoosiers are only 1/2inch wider than the Kumho. And really need an 8inch rim if you what the best.
