Isn't that just a Infiniti G20? I'm not Nissan expert, but I would think that you'd need the VE ECU because the DE ECU wouldn't have VVL control...

Re: Sr20...
Did you not get the VE ECU with the swap, is it out of a pulsar? The DE ecu is set with smaller injectors and lower redline not to mention it has no control over the neo VVL.

Re: Sr20...
If you swap your usdm sensors, O2 sensor, DE injectors into the rail and use the DE maf you can use the DE ECU. You will make no where near what power you could though. You need to get a JWT or Calum Ecu for the VE injs, maf. Also you need a MSD window switch wired up to the solenoids to engage the VVL.
I would strongly recommend that you use a proper VE ECU (like Calum or JWT) for engine management. This would allow you to optimize timing as well as mixture. The DE program bin file is not a good fit, even with SAFC.
The next thing to change would be the MAF -- if you are going to change the ECU you might as well go ahead and upgrade to the N60 or equivalent.
