and we both know i would. duh...

 

because my axle popped out again. thinking it was the wrong one. but shit. i drove to and from VMP and raced the shit out of it 5 times and i had no axles problems. but then today on the highway i see a big puff of white smoke for a couple seconds and it goes away. i pull into my house to see what was up. Axle was out again. but this time i could engage gears. anyways. i changed it out and no problems yet. i compared the two together and the new one looks a little longer, but i didn't make sure they were compressed in the joints the same way. so i dont know for sure. i will find out on monday probly when we try to warranty the axle out.

also, i was bone dry of oil when this happened and i had just changed my oil and filter on thursday. I noticed that I had a bunch of carbon on the rear bumper so this leads me to believe its the rings. we did a compression test and all across they read 175. (185 is what is supposed be new. and a +/- 28psi difference is ok). i didn't notice any leaks under the car so i am puzzled. i guess in a couple days when i look at the oil, i'll find out. I might do a leakdown test if i have time tomorrow.

and i only ran a 15.2 at the track

so yeah. FUCK MY CAR
