What are you talking about sickinger? I have not heard of any STi's ever breaking their tranny. Your probably thinking of the regular WRXs, which is a little more correct.

first off since when is an EVO a dsm. its not. dsms consist of 1g ang 2g eclipses lasers and talons and galant vr-4s the reliability on a dsm is very well. if you take care of them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Mitsubishi fan and just about worship the 4G63T, BUT the STi is slightly better vehicle and if I had 30K to blow on one I would take the STi.

First off, I do stand corrected about the STI, I was thinking of the WRX.
