Looks like it might miss us, it's going east not southeast.

Good ruck regardless. (spelling intentional) Wish I was closer... there's no one to ride with 'round here.

I'm not riding today, Cars & Coffee is on Saturday morning.

Also, riding a Ruck through the Midtown Tunnel is an interesting experience.

My ruck breaks up at 3/4-full throttle no matter the temp. Any ideas before I get flamed on TR?

I haven't touched it myself, but the P.O. told me Rollers, but couldn't remember the weight (he guessed 5.5 gram) and the "yellow" spring, which I figured was the 1500 spring.

Some hints though: He gave me a box full of stuff to go with it. Among the random extra stock stuff, there's a JET kit, filters to mod the intake system.

Also, the Ruck had OBVIOUSLY been laid down before, so I pulled the battery box to straighten it. Here's what I saw and corrected: the ecu/indicator lights/etc bracket was only bolted in the center, the positive side of the battery was attached with a large screw and the neg side was simply "pinched" on and seemed lose.

I put properly sized machine screws on the battery but NEVER disconnected it. Maybe the ECU needs to be reset because the 'tards before me didn't know that you're supposed to reset when ever you disconnect the battery?

Any other ideas?

give it to me

there's a jet kit. see what jets are in it. maybe the PO changed the jets in it. i'd mainly check out the main or w/e that controls your high rpm fuel flow.

Yes, def sounds as if the PO changed out the jetting. Thats a very typical step after changing the carb and intake manifold or anything with the intake in general.

Read this from BattleScooter about jetting the Ruckus. http://battlescooter.com/45.html
