Injector install question
Going to be upgrading my turbo in the S6, plan to do most of it with a friend of mine, however I am unsure of how easy it will be to replace the injectors? It looks simple enough.... but that doesn't mean it will be, anybody done there own injector change before?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Injector install question
1. bleed fuel pressure off(cut power to pump, slowly loosen fuel line, etc..) 2. remove anything in the way of fuel rail 3. remove fuel lines(if necessary, sometimes you can get away with out doing that depending on how line setup is) 4. remove fuel rail 5. slowly pull injectors out of fuel rail/intake manifold 6. put new injectors in using new o-rings(lightly lubricate o-ring for ease of installation) 7a. make wiring changes to injector plugs, if necessary 7b. put everything back that you removed 8. prime fuel system(cycle fuel pump on/off a few times and check for leaks, fix leaks if there are any) 9. have vehicle re-tuned for new injectors 10. have fun with the added horsies

Re: Injector install question
haha u can do it a few diff ways, mainly depends on how your fuel setup is... switch for pump, after market lines from tank to rail or just stock shit..all are pretty easy to do...the main objective though is not make a big mess or a fire hazard, but it wont kill you if you dont relieve the pressure, ya know its not diesel pressure lol

Re: Injector install question
Find a convenient hose coupling or fitting to remove, and wrap a big rag around it to catch the gas as the fuel line pressure is vented when you remove the fitting.
