Yeah Keef, keep in mind that the idle screw being turned clockwise is the equivalent of holding the throttle open by hand. It has nothing to do with changing anything internally.
If you havn't cleaned the carb yet, that was probably the first thing you should have done. While the carb is still off, grab an old cup and hold the fuel line it, turn your key to the on position and check for an adequate flow (or any flow at all for that matter)

I have two carbs, so one is getting cleaned tonight and will try it out tomorrow. When I give it throttle it will start, so thats why i thought of giving it more idle would make it start itself. While I had it apart I gave it a nice clean under the floor board and around the gas tank, also removed that plastic mud guard from the back.
In the military housing off of Windsor oaks/independence/princess Ann (depending on where you coming from). Anybody is welcome to stop by and help anytime, I will provide a refreshing beverage and polite conversation!

k, front frame has freshly painted.
Gotta see if any hardware stores are open tomorrow so I can get some new bolts that don't rust. That way I can put the two halves back together.
and a new tube of loctite.
