your tps may have a dead spot. put a voltage meter to the middle wire on your connector to the tps. with the car on the onII position slowly open up the throttle. if there is a big jump between numbers that will indicate a dead spot.

You are completly right. Tried this just now. Looks like I'll need a TPS. I cleaned my IAC valve and it ran better. But repeated this morning. Hopefully I can get this fixed soon.

you did mention it, but you didn't tell him how to see if it was working properly or not, or if it needed to be calibrated or anything like that. However; you did give some really good pointers throughout the thread. great work.

I like to get people started, not hold their hand the whole way. That's mostly because I'd spend all of my time writing how-to instructions instead of helping people troubleshoot. It gets tired writing the same instructions 100 times instead of letting people find it with a quick Google search.
