Just read through that thread, very sorry to hear about what happened. I'm kinda curious though, did Geico kick some ass for you?

Reason I ask is Merchant's Tire dropped my truck 6ft off a lift and failed to inform me about it. I saw one of my fenders bowed out about a 1/4", I looked in the wheel well, saw where the tire impacted the inner fender, 30 degree bend in my shock and both CA's were bent to hell and out of 8 engine mount bolts, 2 were still intact. Didn't even go back inside.. called Geico, had a representative come out, he assessed it then the walked in and asked if Merchant's knew anything of the damage. Turns out they knew exactly what happened and he noted they failed to mention it to me. Geico turned my $650 deductible into a $7,000 lawsuit, a $1400 check to me and the loss of 2 Merchant employee's jobs.

I will stick with Geico forever.

 

gieco covered my costs of fixing it but never went after him as far as I know

never got my 500 deductible back..

You realize parts alone for the oil change for those bikes are almost 100 bucks?

 

16 for the filter, 40 for a gallon of repsol, 2 crusher washer, another 2 for filter crusher washer and BOOM 100 bucks for the labor. Which I've done a dozen times and takes no more than 30 minutes.

I had asked them to look at the clutch that still wasn't acting properly after THEY replaced it and figured I'd get a cheap oil change since they get it for probably half of what I paid for cost before labor.
