The Corse comes with a 57mm termi and gas charged forks are just an extra option. What you pictures is a 1098rs. Its the corse model that is specifically for racing. You can buy a road going R that has all the motor, and exhaust options of the rs - the gas charged forks. Pretty sure the tank on the rs is carbon too... at least that is the way it went with the 999 series.

Sturgis, SD trip report:
I will post some more pics when my buddy sends them to me, but it was an awesome trip and we had a blast. We left Virginia Beach at 4pm on 8/1 and arrived in Milwaukee at 10:30am on 8/2, boom 1080 or so miles in 19.5 hours. We were so amped up from making to Milwaukee that we just started drinking. We walked from bar to bar, got some brats from the brat house and went to bed about 11pm. Got up the next day and went to the harley musuem and spent way too much time there, it is a great museum. Left Milwaukee on 8/3 and took 59 to 67 to 18 into Madison stopping off at 5 biker bars along the way, then hung out at the college bars in Madison. We left Madison on 8/4 at noon and arrived at the buffalo chip 800 miles later at 2am on 8/5
Some of the bands I saw at the chip: Zac Brown, Candlebox, Saving Abel, Journey, Buckcherry, Boston, Aaron Lewis, Eric Church, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sugarland, and Skid Row.

Left Sturgis 8/11 at 4pm, arrived 400+ miles later in Minnesota at 2am. Left Minnesota 8/12 at 10am arrived 500+ miles later in Chicago at 7pm and stayed with a girl I went to college with. Had a blast in Chicago that night and left Chicago 8/13 at 8am and arrived home 900+miles later at 2am on 8/14.
