The gold "tuck" popped a muffler or rotted out?

DAMN TYPO...fixed.

nothing wrong with that muffler pictured, I just need a few more of them made. they're 24" long, 6" diameter, and completely hollow.

It's 1/8" or thicker stainless steel pipe and then I'd need somebody to cut the end caps to weld along the outside and the inside would need to be cut for 2.5" exhaust.

Oh, and Patrick, are you gonna give me a hand when I take the 2bbl intake off the '68? I'm putting a 352 PI 4bbl intake on it and the damn things weight somewhere between 85 and 90 lbs a piece.

Whenever Wayne gets it pulled off, I will get it from him. It probably won't be by Friday unless he gets on the ball.

Does the 2.5" piping go straight through the body of the "muffler"?Is the piping perforated or anything,or is this just to basically give the appearance of a muffler?
I can do the welding of the various pieces, and could also cut the endcaps, but it'd take me a while to do the endcaps.1/8" material is more than thick enough.Any thicker would be unecesary weight.
