The S2000 has no torque, and would be better from the factory with 300 tq/hp.

If you're coming to VB I'd love to drive your car for you 8)

Well I learned one thing yesterday.

The S2000 sounds fucking terrible with no catback on

Also huge thanks to wishIhadasilvia. He rolled my fenders the other day, did a fantastic job. Definitely has a lot of experience rolling fenders on our cars.

Any one running a test or straight pipe on their S? I got Apexi exhaust and I have a small crack in the Cat converter from scraping.... Thought about just running a test pipe or straight piping that shit, I live in NC so no exhaust laws.

Drove the S all weekend. I freaking love this thing. Went to a wedding and took it camping. 200 miles this weekend. Car now has 167,090 miles on it.

I was more so speaking on something with a nice smaller t3 turbo (twin scroll, dual wastegates), and a very controlled, linear tune with a nice boost by gear set up. That kinda set up, with the right driver; would be scary fast and handle excellent with the linear tune.
you right.

So before I buy this J's Racing 70RR and wake up everyone in a 30 mile radius, is anyone selling an exhaust or have any recommendations? I'm not 100% set on it, but everything else seems to have a 2-3 month wait from JDM land.

there is no quiet spot in the J's 70RR, Idle is nice an "gurggly", Highway drone is loud, and WOT is sex but might wake up people on the other side of the state.

But if you want the Track Car sound Go for it

I don't mind super loud, just wish I could hear one in person. I'm taking classes at George Mason this summer, so I'm a bit nervous driving through Fairfax County with a 70RR

The Challenge street version looks good on this car, but all the other one's I've seen it looks ricey. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO
