Parts Are Back From Powder Coating!!!!

Re: Parts Are Back From Powder Coating!!!!
It was $650. If I prepped the parts instead of them, it would have probably been closer to $500. The quality does seem to be really good too.
A lil note to anyone that wants to get parts powdercoated... Make sure you tell them every single area that needs to be masked off before coating. If you don't tell them, they will coat it!!! That was one of my mistakes and removing that stuff is a real pain.

There's a lot that you can do to those Buells. I think the XB9 has a shorter stroke with a 1200cc bore though. So in order for you to reach 1200cc, you will have to split the cases on the motor and have 1200cc connecting rods installed. If you go far enough into the motor to replace the rods, see about having the cases bored and upgrading to 89ci. If you want some serious power out of the bike, be ready to spend some money. Upgrading these motors ain't cheap if you want to get past the typical upgrades.

It was the only thing that was in Home Depot that said it kills Deer Flies and Horse Flies. It worked for a couple hours but I think the cool weather this weekend did a lot better job.
