Yep, TW's are street legal from factory. I follow my brother-in-law around on his 4 wheeler and am constantly amazed how that bike just will not get stuck.

 

 

Is that case coated with bedliner material?

Finally was able to ride today. Just got over 500 miles. Did my first oil change on the stripple

 

 

Just stopped for a wreck on the 64w to 295s ramp. Looked like the rider might have fixated on the guard rail and ate it head on. Luckily hes still in one piece and was riding with a group. Looked like it might have been a yamaha.

New battery should be here today.

never jump started a bike before...
figured it was the same as a car...
read the manual, manual says nothing about leaving the car off...
jumped it with the car running...
battery went bzzzt...

Hopefully all I buggered was the battery.

I guess I got lucky the other night as I had to jump the ninja after running it out of gas... long story. I have lost most faith in fellow motorist...

 

After some research I found that if you recharge a lead acid battery too fast (with the car on) it'll pop. They are slow charge batteries only.
