mine does the same thing. seems that its your feeling in the short shifter. if you swap it out with a gsr style shifter technically you will have more leverage on the linkage.

Mine is doing the same thing. I just replaced my clutch this past weekend and now it's a little harder to go into second gear.

Uhh its GM syncromesh


make sure you get the friction modified version.

get it at any GM dealership(chevy etc.)

lol BM synchro mesh.

Bro B-series are infamous for rubbin gears when cold (or h series) or at anytime for that matter. anyways try the Lucas transmission shit and GM synchromesh. That combo is a sure winner. In my EM1 I had bent shift fork which puts excess pressure on you synchros ability to stop and bearings to fuction right. When i put that lucas and synchro shit in there didn't rub any gears.
But, yea uh you beat on that tranny when its cold the bearnings will not forgive you remember that. drive it how you want you miss third one good time all it takes in a b trans.
