Did you get it back? Pretty messed up that someone would come over, leave their car and just take off. At a minimum it should be seen as unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and prosecutable. Its not as harsh as grand theft but it scores the record. I am shocked the cops would not jump at this one especially since its not registered. Best of luck getting it back. What did he leave at your house? Worth anything? I would have it towed as abandoned and then report my car stolen...

no car is still not returned. he left a camaro that needed abuncha work. he was supposed to bring by parts, rims engine, seats new top and more. he was then to recieve the title and deal done, but no parts and wont return car. ya im gonna head down to the precinct and file an unlawful detainer and paperwork for the civil courts is all filled out and ready to be turned in.

damn, sounds like it need more than tons of work but they are fun to work on. Hope you get what is yours though man, stuff like this makes for some pretty shady dealings and idiots like this give the site a bad taste...
