and the smaller couplers aren't anything name-brand, definitely home-made

im looking into getting a new down pipe, intake manifold, and inter-cooler piping

Man, I hope you're not using a coupler on a down pipe and if you are can I watch?
I got some at home. I think they are 2.5" and I may have one that is 2"

If you're in or near C'ville, I have a couple extra 2.5" couplers from my turbo build that I never used, I can toss them to you for a couple bucks.

They're generic, 4 ply, ebay couplers. Their partners have been holding 10 pounds on my car for the past couple months with zero problems. If you want to meet off like, Exit 148 off I-64, I can give you both of them for $10. E148 is pretty much exactly between the two of us. I've got the t clamps with them, and they're still new in wrapping.

OP, go to the junk yards look at your ford f150's and e150's reinforced black intakes hoses, easily will old 20 lbs and you cut to fit.
