Pump Gas dyno results, stock block
once I get the ignition and WB fixed, gonna retune it with more timing and boost. After that, and locking the TCC, we are hoping to make 650-700 at the wheels. It wont see the track though until end of May first part of june though because of my military obligations. Car is being put away for 4 months in a few days. I also have to swap my 2004R for a built 4L80E since this one is now cooked. Hoping to trap mid 130's. It has a manual transbrake now but Im gonna add an electric one in the new tranny. I also may have a dripping injector so thats another problem I have to get cured. Need to pull them all and get them cleaned, flowed and checked. Too much to do and out of time until summer. Thanks USN. We, Red and I, are sure theres easily another 100HP or more left in it to get out. Gotta get all this other crap fixed now and get the training and other BS out of the way. I wanted to get this done before I moved out of state though. I head out in the morning.
that was just the way I uploaded it to photobucket
Damn car crapped out on me when I tried to load it on the car trailer to move up here to St Louis. Turns out it was in clear flood mode not firing the injectors due to a bad TPS, this may be the reason it was having problems on the dyno the other day. I put some new TR6 plugs in and gapped them tighter and replaced the TPS. Time to get a new Wideband and go to the dyno again.
eek, found out I was making 554 leaking boost out of 7 different spots on the headgaskets. Wow, wonder what she will make with the new ones
That thing is a PIG! LOL! j/k! Looks good Jeff. Im installing a 4l80e in my junk too. You going manual or electronic. I got a compushift standalone for mine. With a t-brake and plenty of power. I should catch my 9s and be done with my street car.
You will never be done
Always something else to do. I was about to order my roll cage but now Im ordering more damn gaskets and spending time doing the top end instead of ripping out the interior and prepping for some welding, oh well. I cant wait to get the heads sealed back up and see what a difference the new NON leaking gasket make
