I was thinking about notching out the knuckle but didn't know if It was possible to go too far or how think it is. I would opt for pulling/pressing the hub also but im working with very limited money.

Either Way, Your options have been laid out there is really no point in coming back here to ask more questions. It is essentially a simple choice. If you cant pay for the right way, then do it the cheap way.

If it's an older/original bearing, yeah they are probably done.
These are 200K+ mile cars we're talking about, and you don't have to press the bearings either.
I've never had an issue with a newer bearing though obviously, but that's just me.

Not lazy, just dont know what I'm doin. I was told to get the hub off the knuckle something has to be pressed.....idk. Again not a mechanic, in actually pretty new at this. Thanks for the patience deuscher.

Got it! Slide hammer = success. Then used the axel nut to get the hub back on. Thanks for all the abuse guys. I know this wa prolly simple for someone who's done it but im new to this. MODS PLEASE DELETE THREAD
