Default synthetic oil problem! help!

so ive recently tried running synthetic oil.......im a idiot. it runs shittier, and the thinner oil is coming through the cam seal.

when i used regular castrol gtx 5w-30 my car ran smooth all the fucking time

i hear you cant run anything else other then synthetic now.
and for the sake of my car, i want to put it back to the reguilar oil it was used to.... but i need hard facts on whats up so i dont fuck up my car more

i only changed it to the synthetic like a week ago and the guy at the advanced auto parts said just do a complete oil change and in a thousand or so miles, do it over again to get a complete flush

anybody know if thats a smart idea or what

Just drain the synthetic and put dino oil back in, you could even go with a heavier weight if you need to.

The synth doesn't make your seals swell as much as regular dino oil, that's why you're leaking. The car won't run shittier with synth, you're probably just uncovering problems that were there all along that the standard oil masked.. If you change oil and you have engine problems, there's sometihng wrong with your engine, not the oil.
