My lug nuts came loose and broke one of the studs and bend the other to hell and im trying to knock out the studs but i cant get the bracket that is holding the studs off of the car. I got the 35mm nut out but the bracket does not seem to want to come off the car. I used a puller and it just pushed the drive axle back into the hole and the bracket is still stuck there. Im in a world of shit here i need some help.

 

leave it on the car and beat it out, they shouldnt be too extremley hard to get out...if so then lube it up!

 

if worse comes to worse, u have to completely take the whole hub off the car and knock the studs out

 

take the hub off, alot easier.

 

torch, fire is your friend.

 

you dont have to take the hub off for new stock studs. just take a grinder and grind the side of one side of the new stud kinda flat and it'll fit in on the frontside (side towards the front of the car) of the hub, just spin the hub for each new stud you're replacing, and use an old lugnut to pull the studs in.

 

Thanks for the help i got it all fixed up today, my mechanic freind came by and helped me out. Working with 1/4 of the tools i needed was my problem. I need to invest in some tools.
