ls vtec HELP
hey yall,1st thanx for bothering 2 look & try to help a man out 2nd i was gonna get ya"lls opinion on a vtec controller, i know i need 1 that i can adjust fuel w/how are the feilds boxer,& the vafcs....im looking to buy or trade for one 3rd,what cams along w/a valvetrain upgrade should i get to lay down some decent HP......thanx again

I havent used a Feild unit but they are all practically the same. Some just may have other minor features not avail with others.
I have had a VAFCII and love it. Its very easy to use once you get the hang of it. First time I opned it up its was basically Greek. If you have never used one before I would seriously recommend letting a reputable shop install and dyno tune the unit for best results.
It is possible to street tune the unit but I wouldnt recommend it until you are fully knoledgable on how to use it.\
As far as a valvetrain package. This is all personal preferance. Just take into mind that if this is a daily driver, what kind of idle are you willing to deal with, what power band are you looking for. All top end? Mid-High? Low-Mid, etc. Typically though for Hondas almost all cam packages are gonna focus on either mid-high or just top-end HP numbers.

lookin for mid-with the capablilties to run HIGH rpms when needed, have yall had any good experience w/blox cams...i got a dude tryin to sell me a set of stage 1 and was going to ask if they are worth a fuck b4 i waste my $$
