I don't think trannys have filters. At least not integra ones.

Those transmissions just require a drain and fill. It only requires 3 quarts of fluid. Jiffy Lube is apearently trying to rip you off. I guess they were trying to sell you a transmission flush? I would not recomend it, mainly due to the fact that Hondas automatic transmission fluid has cretain additives added to it, only use Honda automatic transmission fluid. It is very simple and you could do it yourself.

whenever i mess with anything in my car it seems to hate me and just eff up more. jiffy lube didnt try to sell it to me, i just called around, but my tranny jerks really hard and when turning it looses alot of power and kinda just spins? like its in neutral sometimes. and i couldnt think of doing anything other than a tranny drain/fill to fix it

It sounds like it is slipping so draining it or putting mechanic in a bottle will not help

Might even make it worse, but I'll do it for $23.

They have filters but they are internal meaning you have to crack the case to replace em. Best thing to do is buy 2 cases of Honda ATF and drain and fill drain and fill till you go through all the fluid. Then simply refill it. When you go to the dealer to have it done you will notice they will bill you for 2 cases also becasue they do the same thing.

And $70 will only get you one case of Honda.
