98 Civic DX (D16y7) to 94 Civic EX (D16z6) swap, what do I need to make it work?
I blew the motor in my stock 98 coupe dx, and have this donor parts car that I was told I could swap in, temporary, until I get a K series.
I was told I need a 98 civic ex ecu? is this true or can I use the one thats in the 94 ex already? Any help appreciated, thanks.

friend just said "get the car running, bring it over, and i'll pass it for you, just make sure you have all lights, and a stock exhaust. so all i need to do is get the car running.
driveahonda- thanks for everything, i already have the ecu from the old motor, going to try to use that, before i spend money on getting ecu and harness.
does anyone else have any other comments or feedback? greatly appreciated.
