UPDATE on the family...for those that care
Well I figured I would update everyone on what has been going on.
As most of you know I sold the G35 to help my family out since they are having some rough financial times. Things actually have went pretty good with comming up here to Ohio on leave.
Originaly I was supposed to take over my parents truck payments, but due to them being upside down on the loan and insurance rules for me trying to be covered under a vehicle that isnt in my name we decided to go a differet route. I was just going to give my parents some money but, my father didn't really like that idea at all and would have none of it so we came to an agreement that I would purchase the other car they have which is paid off at the cost of trade in value, which actually works out to be a pretty good deal both ways. It will help them until they get back on their feet and gives me a dependable vehicle that I can use as a daily driver. The car happens to be a 99 Mercury Sable with a V-6, power windows, tilt, 120k miles, new brakes, cruise and an ugly redish maroon color. Not the fastest of rides but cruises great and is big and roomy while not being to thirsty for gas. Plus since it is paid off I can get cheap liability insurance.
On a side note I took a little money and the GF to the riverboat casinos down on the Indiana / Ohio border and had a blast. We ended up winning 2gs playing BlackJack and having a great time. I used the money towards the purchase of an engagement ring and I'm just waiting for the right time to pop the question so hopefully that will go well too.
Thanks again for everyones support during these rough times things have gone a lot better than expected
