How to adjust TEIN coilovers?
I have a 1990 240sx with TEIN HE coilovers.. I want to change the ride height and was wondering what the best or most correct way to adjust them is. I've read that measuring from the bottom of the strut mount to the bottom of the lower collar will work. I also read something about pre-loading the springs.. If anyone could shed some light on this subject it'd be appreciated. thanks.

Re: How to adjust TEIN coilovers?
the way I always used to adjust mine was to take a metric ruler, and measure from the bottom perch to the bottom of the locking washer/perches (the things you spin together that the springs sit on). I'd pick a starting point on one, and take note of the measurement. Then apply the same one to all the others. It might take an adjustment or two.. im sure you'll figure out the height you want. good luck. Also a string and a marker work too.
