Default what can i use to take spray paint off???

hey im trying to take some spray can paint off some rims and sand it down to get it professionally paint.. im thinking its laquer or enamel based spray paint used on it...

the paints black and looks like its been on for a while

if anyone knows any products i can get at a local store.. advance auto parts, autozone, lowes, home depot.. walmart... etc

HELP!! lol

yea get "aircraft remover" at pepboys,autozone,advance..shits crucial, dont ge tit on your skin..haha it burns..

Aircraft removal or Laquer. only things you can use besides wet-sanding. I think wet-sanding is your best bet but use the aircraft remover 1st and then start wet-sanding with 4,000 grid. if that doesn't work go 2,000 or just take the wheels to Amercian Stripping (Not a club) and they can do everything all at once.

Brake clean. It's going to be the cheapest and do I good job. Get 5 cans @.89 cents a can, and a a semi hard pad to rub it off with.

Also brake fluid is good. I hear it takes paint off of anything.

believe or not i used my moms nail polish remover to get white paint off my moldings and it worked...used it a lil bit on my rims and it came off but i dont know about the whole rim, i used it on half of it

aircraft stripper/remover. That eats through any paint. I tried spraying some wheels black for the hell of it before taking them in for powder coat then put that shit on and used a plastic blade and just scraped it right off clean.
