Does anyone in the area do Parkour?
A friend of mine and I have been wanting to get into parkour for some time and i was just wondering if anyone actually does it locally.
parkour (or free running) the physical art of French origin, the aim of which is to move from point A to point B as efficiently and quickly as possible, using only the possibilities of the human body.It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment — from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls.
examples of parkour can be found in movies such as District b-13 (the innovator of parkour , david belle, is actually the main character), casino royale (opening chase scene is david belle's former training partner sebastien foucan) and the documentary called Jump London.
i'm pretty sure if you search parkour on you tube you can find a bunch of clips.

I thought that movie sucked.
But all of the action sequences were some of the best I've seen in a while...
So PERSONALLY I give it a 6.
Then I remembered that they totalled that Impreza. I give it a 4.

free running is different from parkour. parkour is a to b is quick, free running is all about flow and then the trick stuff.
im down for some free running.
