I know springs have to settle but what about coilovers?

Default I know springs have to settle but what about coilovers?

hey i know that springs have to settle for a few days until you can seriously notice that it is lowered, but is it the same for coilovers? I put mine on and it's only about an inch up the threaded sleave and it only looks semi-lowered. If i'm correct the way i have it should be lowered about 3", am i missing something or do they have to settle like springs?

well since coilovers are adjustable, you should be able to decided which ride height you want to go with.

read the instructions if your coils came with any.

and if you have, I couldnt tell you if they settle or not.

all springs settle. however, it doesnt really matter, to a point, on how much your coilovers settle because you can always choose your ride height...
