Default lift/ tire comparison

Hey all. I got a question I hope someone can answer or point me in the right direction. I have a 94 K1500 and I will be getting the Whiplash 10" kit. Can I fit 39.5"x15 tires underneath that? Or do you think I should a 1 or 2" body lift? Also, since these are 15 inch wide tires, what backspacing should I use? Thanks for the help!

94 k1500 is ifs . . . if you wheel it it's defently gonna break and give ya issues with 39's. . . you should beable to clear 39.5's with 10 inches . . was clearing em with 7 on my 78 . . . . . . as far as back spacing most are like 3.5 - 3.75 . . . any wider they are gonna be sticking way out there

dude if u even think of wheeling u need to do a straight axle conversion cause those tires r going to give u hell in the mud casue u will break down every 5 min.

I was looking at the Interco Trxus STS, but I was thinking 39's are the extreme limit, more like 38's. Its my DD, so I can't afford for it to be down for too long, believe me I have thought long and hard about straight axle, but It will see mud far less than it will see street, so I decided I can have some fun with it, but won't be hittin' 4 feet deep clay mud! I know the weak link will be the axles, I've done alot of research on this. I guess my main thing is if 15" wide tires and what backspacing. THanks for the help gents!

another think to consider is the cost of re-gearing front and rear if you go 38/39's

Might want to try 35's to begin with until you can afford to re-gear...

just my .02

if you want an aggressive tire that will last longer on the street, get some 38.5" ground hawgs on 10" wide rims.
