ok so i got a 88 hatch w/ a blown motor so i finally got another block & i will b swapping it soon.its an obd1 block. But i was wondering as far as the wiring of the motor goes, what will have to rewire? or what do i have to do?? the car has the stock wiring 0bd0 harness..

 

You need to wire the fuel injecters, V TEC, and knock sensor

 

Is your car a std dx or si? It really depends if your car is dpfi or mpfi also if your tring to convert to obd1 or stay obd0.

What distributor are you using, obd1 or obd0?

 

to keep it as simple as possible, use the stock/original intake manifold and dizzy.

just swap out the blocks or long blocks. use the stock/original intake manifold and dizzy that is in the car currently and put them onto the new block/long block with the stock harness that is in the car right now.
