Default body/paint work

anyone know good shops on the peninsula for body/paint work? i got estimates from maaco and gary's custom. i'm not sure about the quality of their work so i was wondeirng if anyone knew anything about them before i give them my car and my money.

even if it's not on the peninsula if you know of a place that does good work for decent prices, let me know and i might make a trip out to the beach. thanks in advance.

Gary's is where I got my body kit painted. He does a good job and matched the paint perfectly. He also had the best deal compared to the other few places i called. I believe he paints an entire car for like $900-$1000. He painted my 4pc kit and installed it for $500. It would have been just $350-$400 just to paint the kit. Other places were asking for $100 to $200 more on the other side of the water.

Do not go to Gary's I had my kit put on by them and they put WOOD screws in the side skirts to put them on. And he told be that is the only way to make it stay on... That is BS.. He did that to a guys neon also. He matches the paint pretty well but I would not have him put it on. Try extreme imports. They do a really good job for cheap.

where is extreme imports, on the peninsula or the other side of the water? i'm only going to have minor dents fixed and the car painted, so if i'm hearing that he does a good job on paint, i think i'm going to take it there.

Wood Screws HAHAHAHA. That's sounds like BS wat da hell is a wooden screw. But if that did happen then damn you got screwed, I would have demanded him to do it correctly.
