Default All Motor Question??????

i have a b16a with itr cams and i will be going all motor for a long while. i am gonna be doing valve springs and retainers in about 3 months. what kinda valve springs and retainers are should i get? i was thinking skunk 2 but i wanna ask around on here first.. so post what valve springs YOU think i should get.. thanks

What's your budget? If $ is no option then go Toda, if you ARe on a budget go wth Crower or skunk 2

im going all motor and i just got my Crower cams and Springs and retainers. All i have heard are good things...I guess Ill find out in a month or so. But thats what I recommend.

oem itr...if and only if you plan on keeping itr cams...

where can i get OEM ITR valve springs and retainers from? the acura or honda dealership?

yea, if ur going to run ITR cams, then just use OEM ITR springs and retain.

get them at the acura dealership or search the internet.

I would stick with stock ITR springs and retainers as well. As a matter of fact, the retainers may be exactly the same as the b16a units. As long as you don't have plans to upgrade the camshafts later on, you will be fine. The stock ITR valve springs will keep the engine noise down unlike fairly stiff aftermarket valve springs, but will not control a much wilder cam then what you have now. It all really depends on what you plan on doing in the future. Don't expect the stock springs to be cheap either!

HEY 0psi if i do skunk 2 inner and outer valve springs can i use my stock retainers or do i have to get skunk 2 retainers also?
