1989 Mercury Grand Marquis GS - $550 OBO -
1989 Mercury Grand Marquis GS
Engine: 5.0L V8
Transmission: Automatic
Price: $550 OBO
Trades: Sure, send away, I can add a little cash if it's something I want enough.
Location: Norfolk, VA
The Good:
SONY CD/FM player with Pioneer 6x9's in rear
Car has low mileage, off top of head it was around 88k - Was purchased with around 66K on car, can get exact figures if necessary.
To the best of my knowledge, it has had 1-2 past owners, main owner was an elderly couple who drove it to church and to go shopping.
Interior is good, couple of panel pieces missing/out of place but the seats are LAZBOY and are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in.
Exterior body is great, no dents that i'm aware of, however the clear coat is chipping in various places around body
--New Radiator (About 2 years ago but has not been driven much since)
--Tire tread should be ok, new front passenger tire
--Inspection 7/08
The Bad:
I will work on fixing, at which point price will increase slightly.
#1) There is a water leak somewhere, I would not advise driving it far or not at all until this problem is fixed. I believe it is a simple gasket along the water pump area but it is not the water pump from what I can see, also the pump was replaced within few years so I highly doubt that is the leak.
#2) Computer came back saying bad EGR Valve, resulting in Engine light to flash and worse performance - Easy fix and I may be fixing this problem, will update thread if I do.
#3) Slight electrical problems - Brother was driving car after me and told me that sometimes the cd player/dash clock would cut in/out and sometimes the headlights would not come on, probably just something loose/needs to be re-wired or something. Should be fixing this as well!
#4) Car has been sitting for a few months - Car being sold AS IS, sorry there are not more details, I have not personally driven the car in over a year, but it's in my name and I'm wanting to get rid of it. Price is OBO - Offer!
**As of 5/07/08 - Willing to trade Honda Civic (Check threads) / Grand Marquis / Few $100 cash / other items (check threads for things I have for sale) for a nice car (Mostly interested in Sedans / Suv / Trucks)**

I'll get more pics in a few days....
Trades, not really sure.... something sedan/suv/truck, decent on gas, and doesn't need much, like I said...can add few $100 cash, I also have a 1989 Civic Si for trade to add (Check my threads) for something nice... or something that will easily get around $500-550
