i have a 94 civic and the ile is soposed to idle at 750 and doesnt matter if the car is cold, warmed up it idles up and down from about 750 up to 2k and it doesnt stop. need help dpnt know what too doo

No sense in reinventing the wheel by telling you how to a probable fix to your situation:

As said, probable fix. Though check your coolant levels, perform a flush if you haven't done so (most don't for whatever reason), etc. Check for leaks before doing so. Also check for vacuum leaks, clean the throttle body, etc, etc.
