Benefits of this. Free up some resistance on your motor for everyday driving, racing, etc. For the track, wire a switch for this pump and your radiator fan to cool down in the staging lanes without having to run your engine (or if you have a electric sump oil pump as I do on my drag car, wire that in with this water pump and your radiator fan for maximum effective cooling in the staging lanes).
