what is the best motor
i have a 97 integra it has a b16 block and ls head. i want to make it a full type R but b4 i spend some money i want to know if there a better motor that i can put it.

I'm in no way a fan of B series, but from what I'm aware of, B18C5(ITR) is just a slightly higher compression motor. If you want to do a ITR replica, C5 would make good power and more then what you have now.
If you are worried about bang for your buck, you could definitely build an equally fast(if not faster) motor combo for the price you'd pay for a real B18C5. Try to get a quote, then compare it to how much you could get for parts or a different B series.

i could do that but i was not sure if i could get as much hp as a full type r. and i did not know if there is a better motor then a b18c5 for integra

what are your plans ? what do you want to do to the engine .. think about all that and go from there... Higher compression boost is less of an option... then go na ... lower compression = i love boost

ok so if i can boost it up and make it faster then a b18c5 for less the money thats what ill do. but do you think it would be better for me to buy a gsr motor and start from there?

ok. because what im doing is.. im about to fix up my teg but idk to much about it. so i want to get a top of the line motor or just find out what i should do to it as far as that goes
