how much for a swap?
I have a crx and was woundering how much it would be to throw a b16 in there. Here are all the parts i have, I was hoping someone could tell me what else i need.
89 crx-d15 with dual pont fuel injection
B16 head and block
tranny
axels
exhaust
mounts
what else do i need?
What all shift linkage could i use and what ecu (dont know the code) and harness do i need?
do the spendals have to be changed?
Please help me out, I have no idea where to start or what im going to be paying to have it installed. Thanx in advance!

Re: how much for a swap?
wiring harness, obd0 to obd1 conversion harness, chipped p28 ecu or po6 or p72(anything with vtec for b series is good), convert to mpfi. i think u named everything else. try to make a friend with swap experience or like major said you will pay several thousand for the swap and labor to put it in

im just guessing but maybe a vtec solenoid and everything to make it work. do you have mounts not sure if itll just bolt up. might be a good idea to get a cluster so you will know where your rpms are at, or just a digital tach. if your gonna do it think about EVERYTHING.

Re: how much for a swap?
you guys are great on the swap info but im no one has really given me an idea on what i should be charged on the actual swap and wiring. im slowly locating everything and i think im almost there, but i still need an idea on the install price so i dont get too screwed on the total. thanx!

more than 1,000$ no more than 3,000$. im just guessing never paid for one, like i said before do the swap yourself. then money you will save can go towards other stuff for your car/motor
