HUMPDADDY is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 99 Ls (ls/vtec ?)

MY BOY HAS A 99LS AND HE WANTS TO DO A LS/VTEC. I BUILT ONE FOR MY BOY IN HIS 91TEG USING THE SIR HEAD AND COMPUTER AND USING THE 91 HARNESS. BUT OF COURSE THE 99 IS OBD2, SO IM NOT SURE WHICH HEAD AND HOW MUCH WIRING IS INVOLVED.

SO MY QUESTIONS ARE ....
1. HAS ANYBODY ON HERE DONE THIS?
2. HOW BIG OF A CLUSTER F#CK IS IT?
3.WHAT YEAR HEAD IS THE BEST/EASIEST TO USE?
4. HOW MUCH HEAD WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE; DOWEL PINS INCLUDED?
5. AND OF COURSE ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

LATER, MIKE

Default

HOW BIG OF A CLUSTER F#CK IS IT?

The process is exactly the same as the conversion you did on the 91.

WHAT YEAR HEAD IS THE BEST/EASIEST TO USE?

The year of the head doesn't matter, but you will need a grey plug Vtec solenoid and an obdII distributor.

HOW MUCH HEAD WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE; DOWEL PINS INCLUDED?

Same as the 91 you have already done.

AND OF COURSE ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF.

You will need to find the proper pinouts for the Vtec wires, but besides that it is pretty strait forward.
