240 sx wont start
i am going to purchase a 94 240sx with a 2.4L 4 cylinder tomorrow for practically nothing. the only problem is, it wont start. i know nothing about foreigns and ive been driving a jeep for the last year. the owner said it died on him while driving a couple years ago. in the past few months he has put on a new coil, spark plugs, plug wires, injectors, cap and rotor, and a few other things and claims its getting fuel and spark. is there a cam sensor or a crank sensor on the motor? if not what could be making it not start? and i tried plugging a new ecu on it and it does the same thing. it just cranks and cranks. any help would be very much appreciated

Re: 240 sx wont start
If it has all those new parts he put on there, and it's practically nothing, buy it if it's in good shape. It shouldn't be hard to troubleshoot the problem most likely, if you're willing to methodically check the critical things that make the engine run. It sounds like the owner is only good at blindly replacing stuff.
It's up to you, and whether you think you can fix it or are willing to spend a little money for someone else to fix it. I wouldn't be discouraged by the engine if you think the rest of the car is worth having.
